Thanks! I went for the simplicity of blue rolled rice krispy treats because the cake sucked up all of my time! I’ll let you know if I decide to try the cookies. I’m keen to try that frosting technique!

You can really make the sugar cookies anytime and freeze without the frosting. I would start icing 2 days before the party, but don’t put them in the fridge or freezer after that. Otherwise the icing will get goopy. They will keep fine in an airtight container on the counter!
