You are not alone, Brenda! While ultimately I like having a later sunset, the days right after the spring forward I can find it difficult to get to bed on time not to mention that losing an hour of sleep can make me cranky :). There are lots of studies out there that suggest that DST is more of a health risk than it is a benefit.

Diffusers are great!! My husband and I both sleep better if we diffuse some lavender 0r cederwood before going to bed. I really need to get a second diffuser though… I keep one in my office to give me energy and I don’t want to clean it out each night to change it over to the calming oils. With just one it’s hard to decide which oils I want to use each time it runs out. 🙂 Maybe I’ll put it on my Birthday list and start dropping some hints to Joseph.

When my husband and I lived in upstate NY I’m not sure which was worse, the cold dry air or the super short days! They days still get a little shorter down here, but not nearly as short!

I’ve really been wanting to get an oil diffuser especially for bed time to help me wind down.
Hope your year is off to a great start!

We haven’t really had a bad winter. It’s mostly been in the 60’s or 70’s until last week. It was 75* on Christmas day. Haha. I loike to pamper myself during winter though. The sun hides early and that can cause a ton of sadness.

I won’t laugh at you, Missy!! The grayness can be soooo depressing {even without the cold}. Do you do anything special to keep your mind occupied while you go for your walks on the treadmill?

People laugh at me when I tell them I wish Spring were here already, but the struggle is REAL!! I’m trying to focus on eating healthier and I just recently purchased a treadmill which is helping me stay active in the Winter. Also, great tip about the lemon essential oil on the back of your neck. I’ll have to give that a try!
